ABOUT
Emily is a children’s book illustrator based in Kansas. Always drawing as a child, she loved getting lost in the magical worlds created by picture books and animation. Growing up in a house filled with animals (from cats and dogs to a variety of lizards and large aquariums), she also developed a love for animals early on. As a professional illustrator with over 10 years experience, she expresses that love through her bright, bold, and whimsical illustrations. Her passions outside of illustration involve tending her butterfly garden and collecting vintage children’s books.
She has worked with many publishers, including HarperCollins, Cottage Door Press, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Kidsbooks Publishing, Sourcebooks, DK, and Usborne.
She also creates patterns and illustrations for licensing and has worked with companies like SHO Reusable and Little Sleepies.
